Habitat for Humanity has this great store on Barber Street. A warehouse of bicycles, coffee brewers, books, chairs, odd lengths of conduit, and so forth, to say nothing of an entire yard full of kitchen ranges. In addition to appliances and assorted products, they get donations of pieces from demolished houses. The side yard contained an old sash window. By "old" I mean it had pulleys and sash weights—it's probably been 40 or 50 years since anyone installed such a window. Above you see it from the back, with the section of stud wall that Speedy and Jeff and Andy and I built for it.
