Now here's a natural: a comedy about professors and graduate students and entrepreneurial ex-topless dancers, staged by a company called Town & Gown in a market that is brimful of professors and grad students and entrepreneurial . . . well, former university students. And the director, Steve, is a real craftsman of comedy besides holding a distinguished academic office.
Jay, in collaboration with Julie and Steve, created an effective design for the show, and I worked on construction. It's a good look, and the first weekends of work produced striking results.
