The Ladies of the Camellias images
If I hadn't been there I certainly would not have believed it. The cast showed up in force, and Allen (construction leader) had done some of the early decisionmaking for us, to say nothing of the heavy lifting. In just one day's work, we got the entire level built and all the "easy" walls done, and in the afternoon Andy talked everybody into applying a base coat of paint to it. In the photo you see the crew rather than the final picture. I don't know whether that window (upstage center) is the one we'll use, and there is an entire arch missing upstage left, but the fireplace is in.

The next page that goes up will show a ground plan drawing, although, in the nature of these things, we probably won't build it just that way.
