The Crucible images
The cast held still long enough for a photo at rehearsal one evening. Someone may have done something impolite. The young girls, most seated in front, hardly look hysterical at all.
This must have been pretty near opening week, because the walls are painted and the molding is hung. The big black gap right of center is the spot where the changeable Upstage wall goes, so either they were not running scene changes that night or they stopped in the middle of one.
