Poor Hank was tired, having driven home from the Bare Naked Ladies concert late last night, so he had a good excuse for not painting the floor. Jace, Karen, Andy and Nikki couldn't get out of it, though.
A lot of the props and effects are ready even though you can't see them: swimming pool, tennis court, toy chest, kitchen counter and some others. This photo shows the way we left the onstage part on March 7. We'll finish the job without the need for a general cast panic or any of those "extra" features.
And not only that, Steve W. is improving the lighting system. He's repaired and inventoried the instruments, applied new and highly legible labels to all the circuits, and is preparing a new map of the lighting plant. The one we've been using for years turns out not to show all the connectors! I speculate that some reports of a dead circuit may have grown from a wrongly labeled receptacle, but we aren't yet sure of that.
