I Hate Hamlet images
On the principle that you don't hide the structure until the Talent has a chance to look at it, we left the stairway unskinned for a week of rehearsals. I made this photo after the main front covering was on; it shows the stairs from underneath, looking from the Center Stage platform. A couple of pages further on I have some notes on the technique of erecting a spiral stairway. This image and the discussion on page 4 will be interesting to two groups: people who may have to build the same kind of stairs and people who may have to engage in swordplay on them.
