Inherit the Wind images
If you went back to the ground plan and worked on the geometry, you'd see right off that "splicing" the scenes on the flats would have benefited only one member of the audience. We therefore decided not to try. The photo above shows part of the courthouse and the country side of the set.
I should mention that director Hue's childhood friend Paul (they agree that they actually shared a playpen more than once) came and helped build the set. He and one of his boys were in the cast too. Paul's a construction guy and was able to bring a lot of insight to the job, a big addition.
