Lettice & Lovage images
Lettice's furniture looked like pieces of sets, for the very good reason that she salvaged most of it from her mother's all-girl Shakespeare company. The "Falstaff chair" was built rough, and we further roughened it by hitting it with hammers. Janet hit it in the wrong place and it required therapy (note the clamp holding the left arm together). The next image shows another piece of Lettice's stage furniture.
