Two or three people remarked on how the moldings you see at right have transformed the ugly platforms. (Zach applied the muslin to the visible edges, masking the nasty bolt holes, and then Andy installed the upper and lower moldings.) Now if we can just keep Joe from stepping right on the edge and breaking off the upper run. . . .
The photo at left gives a better view of an arch in finished form. The bands of molding pleased Derek so much that I believe he canceled the hydrangea sprays. Please: If you recognize what architectural period these things belong to, speak to the hand because I'm not listening.
