A Midsummer Night's Dream cast photos
What looks like streaks on the film here is really the glittery mylar streamers that hung all over the stage. They were not as much of a pain as the fairy dust, which you met with everywhere in the theater, and also in your costume pieces for years afterward. Rrr. Fran evidently could not escape photo call this time; she's in the center of the top row. The sort of stuffed mascot person standing next to the Man in the Moon is the Lion, played by Lila Cartledge, who had a fine costume collection. At the strike party for The Pirates of Penzance later the same season, she put Michael P. in a conservative red evening gown; turned out to be Michael's color. Then everyone climbed onto the roof. I don't claim to understand all this, I just write it down.
