Play It Again, Sam A delightful 1970s comedy directed by Dina and performed on an astounding set that Tom designed. Only one member of the cast has even the faintest memories of the 70s—those being mostly limited to first-generation Pop Tarts and his parents' ragged hippie friends—so the whole effort had sort of a History Channel feel to it, you know, "When Aristotle sat down to breakfast, we think he probably ate something very much like our sourdough toast." Everything considered, they did a pretty good job of recreating a vanished era. A little quiz: When community theater people free-associate, when you say "1970s" what's their most frequent response? I took some good pictures of this wonderful set.
