Cameron spray painting propsYou can say "modest budget," "simple set" and "minimal props" all you like; when you do the Dickon play, somebody has to spray-paint a crown. Here's Cameron adding some goblets, tankards and other tableware while the tippy hat dries in the foreground.

Special Audience Award: When you come to see the show (June 11-13, Year 4), spot the plastic cereal bowl and win a free toy. (Offer limited to free toys Matt has on hand.) The crew has long since painted over the obscene dartboard . . . long story.

Alyssa cleaning brushesAt right, Alyssa has thoughtfully provided a sample (see jeans) of the brown paint used on the walls and furniture. She is playing Buckingham (as a Duchess) in the show, pursuant to a grand Second Stage tradition. As a former drama department figure, she is conscientious about cleaning paint brushes. Everybody likes to paint but most people don't show Alyssa's harmlessly anal care in leaving the tools nice and clean for the next person.
