Act Three Ground Plan

In Act 3 the set becomes the ship carrying R, G and Hamlet toward England. The upstage side of the level (now functioning as the ship's quarterdeck) has three barrels in which characters appear. Yes, we will use trickery (not shown).

The circle in left-midstage represents the ship's mast.

You can imagine that there will be some heavy lifting between Acts 2 and 3. I've suggested that we pull the curtain and spare the audience having to listen to the language the stage manager uses on the crew.
