Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead
It's really hard to build a calendar so early. I think it goes something like this:
Weekend 1 (Aug. 16-17), objective is to get the level and steps ready, build the tree/column unit, begin on the barrels, begin the Tragedians' cart, inventory draperies and make a final plot of soft goods.
Weekend 2 (Aug. 23-24), objective is to skin the level and begin paint treatment, paint the tree/column unit, install rigging to revolve it, continue on the barrels, continue on the cart, maybe start hanging soft goods.
Weekend 3 (Aug. 30-31), objective is to finish the level and steps, build the mast and install its rigging, continue on the barrels, finish the cart, and definitely begin hanging draperies.
Weekend 4 (Sept. 6-7), objective is to finish the barrels, finish painting all units, prepare the punchlist and start on punchlist items, and paint the deck.
Weekend 5 (Sept. 13-14), objective is to finish the punchlist items, touch up all paint and effects, finish and check all draperies, and leave all day the 14th for lighting and other tech work.
The show opens Sept. 19 for a two-weekend run. When it closes, we'll strike the set and put in storage what we'll use at the Seney-Stovall Chapel during the Georgia Theater Conference.
Of course this is all subject to revision. Thin crews will mean longer days and possibly emergency calls; ample crews will mean we can meet our schedule.
