Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead
The second weekend of set construction saw the cart built and tested. It is rather narrow so it can fit between closely hung draperies. Rosencrantz and Guildenstern will never discover that the cart only has one side; the audience will get to see the costume rack on the "non" side. Molli, playing young Alfred, gets to pull the cart while Dan the Piper and Mamie the Fiddler accompany.
Chris, who once made his living helping restore the Ringling Mansion in Sarasota, volunteered to paint the billboard on the side of the cart. We'll see the Ragedians demonstrating all the interesting and authentic ways they can die on cue.
You are to ignore the cylindrical wooden thingies in the background of the photo at right.
