These four photos show the cast and crew during the 10-minute setup time. Each of the five shows in the festival had to begin with all set, costumes, props, cast and crew (except electrician) inside a 10-foot square box taped out on the stage. The rules allow them 10 minutes to set, 60 minutes to perform, and another 10 minutes to return everything to the box. As driver, I didn't have to enter the box, but I was not allowed on stage, either, so it's hard to recognize anyone in these long-range pix. Left to right, I can spot director Dina, stage manager Cameron hidden behind Alisha (red skirt), swaggering Mike, Brooke and Bree seated, assistant director Patty walking away, and Troy (blue shirt).
The play begins with only R and G onstage, so fewer and fewer people were visible as setup proceeded. At left you can see Mike, Cameron, stagehand Jessica, Alisha, Mamie the fiddler, Brooke, Bree and Patty. Judging from the hat, I'd guess that is Elissa hidden behind Alisha. The man in the foreground is Jim, an organizer of the festival and timekeeper.
In the third photo, I can identify Dina at far right. I know Jace is in there because I saw him crawl under the platforms to clamp them together, and I think the person kneeling at center is Jessica. . .
. . . whose task in the final phase of setup was to grasp Jace by the boots and extract him.
