(*)Eric, president of Town & Gown Players, appeared in the cameo role of Gurga that evening. Other performances featured the Chief of Police, our state Representative, a former Mayor, the editor of a local arts newspaper, a high school drama teacher (T&G's Member of the Decade for the 1980s), character storyteller Grandmother Goose (who starred in Lettice & Lovage a few months earlier) and a set designer drafted at the last moment.
