Rumors images
Two views of my scale model (compare the second one with the plan drawing on the preceding page):
Scaleboy® and Scalemaid® once again perform their roles as well as can be expected. The furniture is just some stuff I had left over from old models and doesn't necessarily represent what will really go in.
"It's all white?" you ask, quite perceptively. No, we won't put the show up on a white set. The director's grandmother Ann will be consulting on color selection once she sees the model, and I didn't want to narrow her options down. The blue object at your left is standing in for a conversation piece. The stairs and balcony will get a railing, and of course the doors won't need signs on them once everybody learns the geography. The middle part looks a bit crowded, but that's on purpose; farce action depends on the ever-present threat of collisions.
I believe construction on Hope's set will begin sometime in late May, and the show opens in the second half of July, so this part of the site may not get updated for a long time.
