Rumors images
In the image above, the red walls and taupe doors are done. The handrail won't really stay green; we just happened to have a can of green paint on hand. (I also wanted to see the contrast just once.)
Lot of work still to do: trim for the doors and window, masking behind all openings, some additional hardware, a front for the big level, two pieces of furniture, and many hours of dressing and touchup. But the set is safe for rehearsals and a great deal of the heavy lifting is finished.
Next week's pages will include details of the handrail. It's a quite effective look.
We are supposed to finish on Sunday the 17th. Could happen. The show opens on the 29th for a two-weekend run; call (706) 208-8696 for reservations.
