Six Degrees of Separation: images
Allen holds strong views on masking with soft goods (see the Amateur Theater Division's dictionary for definition). He's very helpful to other directors but often takes the trouble to let them know what he thinks. After a lot of thought, he has now invented a system for hanging legs to mask the wing space. Building and installing it called for much hardware and effort, but Allen believes it will ease the work of future crews. (I believe it will too.) In the photo above, Allen is teaching the hardware aspect to Carrie.
