Something's Afoot images
The first piece of the set to be completed was the last to be installed: the row of stained glass windows Marie built in her garage. It was like Xmas morning when they darkened the stage and turned on the lights behind the windows. Rancour's Retreat: Why is it a stone castle with stained glass? Marie, as set designer, just naturally had a story about it. The first Lord Rancour built the fortress in the year 1342 as a coastal defense against counter-crusading Saracens. Later generations improved the place with such comforts as chairs and plumbing. Some intermediate Rancour found a church that was being renovated and scrounged the windows from the nave. They are far too tall for the room where he meant to place them, so they continue up into the next story. We don't know who the knight (center) is, maybe a Rancour connection, maybe not.
