The Suitors images
Maybe it's unfortunate that Chicanneau's house got this sort of raniforme paint job; all I can say is that it wasn't obvious how froglike it would appear when we did it. This is Isabelle's balcony; the window will get curtains. Katie's plant shelf needs some contrast painting too.
The photo at right shows Judge Nigaud's house, which ended up being made of brick. Allison and I painted in the mortar joints. The wall with the little window, at your right, will become brickwork on our final weekend. See that big window unit through the door? Well, it doesn't belong there, it belongs up on the high platform at your left. Steve the lighting designer has had a minor conniption (a conniptionette) because he has to light the Judge and Petit-Jean the servant as they peer through a space that's almost up in the grid. Steve will find a way, though.
Amber painted the cobblestones on the level in front of the house. Hopefully no one will trip over them.
